Our office near Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire is also our fitting room. It isn't a walk-in shop and visits are by appointment only, but customers come to us regularly to be fitted for helmets and boots and to try clothing, and everything you see on our website is here to try, and more besides. Helmet fitting is our speciality: as the UK's largest Samshield stockist and a leading stockist of KEP and Kask, we fit riding helmets every day and can put all three brands on your head side by side.

Email us at info@espayo.com with the day you'd like to come, what you'd like to try (a Samshield helmet, riding boots or a show jacket, for example) and your sizes if you know them. We'll reply to confirm a time. We're away at shows through much of the season, so please don't travel until we've confirmed your appointment.
When can I come?
We're generally here for fittings from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. We're closed at weekends, but we can often make an exception to suit you, so ask when you book. Because we travel to shows, there are no fixed opening hours: every visit is by appointment.

What can I try?
Everything we sell online is here to try, and more besides: Samshield, KEP and Kask helmets with their liners, Italian riding boots from Parlanti and Tucci, competition and casual clothing, and horsewear. Tell us what you're coming for when you book and we'll have it ready for you.
What happens at a helmet fitting?
Helmet fitting is what we do most, and what we are known for. We measure your head, look at its shape and try helmets and liners until the fit is right:
- LevelSitting level on the head, not tipped back or forward.
- SnugEvenly snug all the way round with no pressure points.
- SteadyStays put when you lower your head or shake it gently.
Samshield, KEP and Kask each fit differently: Samshield is a slightly oval fit, KEP and Kask are rounder, so trying them side by side is the quickest way to find the right one for you. Every helmet includes a free liner. What happens at a boot fitting?
Italian tall boots are made in a range of foot sizes, calf heights and calf widths rather than one shape per size, so the right pair is a matter of measuring properly and then trying them on. We measure your foot, the height from the floor to the back of your knee and the width of your calf, then bring out the closest sizes from Parlanti and Tucci to try with your breeches on.
New boots should feel close-fitting and a little tall at first: the ankle creases and the boot drops around 1.5 to 2cm in height over the first few weeks, so we fit for how they will sit once worn in, not how they feel in the box. If you'd rather measure at home first, use our Parlanti boot size guide or Tucci boot size guide, and measure at the end of the day when your legs are naturally slightly fuller.
