Finding Your Correct Parlanti Boot Size
Parlanti riding boots are sized on three measurements: your foot size, your calf width and your calf height. Together these produce a semi-custom fit from a stock boot, but only if the measurements are taken accurately.

How to Measure Your Leg for Parlanti Riding Boots
Take all measurements in centimetres, wearing the breeches and riding socks you would normally ride in. Measure both legs and use the larger of the two.
Prepare properly
Stand up straight without shoes, legs slightly apart. Use a soft measuring tape in centimetres and ask someone to help if you can.
Measure your height
With the leg slightly bent, measure from the floor to the crease at the back of your knee. This is your calf height.
Measure the entrance
Measure the circumference just below your knee bone, where the top of the boot will sit.
Measure your calf
Measure the circumference of the widest part of your calf. If your calves differ, use the larger measurement.

These models share the standard Parlanti sizing. Example: A size 39 foot with a 44.3cm height and 32.5cm calf is a 39 M.

What Do the Parlanti Size Codes Mean?
Parlanti sizes combine a calf width letter with a height suffix.
- S / M / L / XL — calf width, Small through Extra Large
- No suffix — Regular height
- + — Tall
- H — Extra Tall
- H+ — Extra Extra Tall
So MH is a Medium calf width in Extra Tall height, and L+ is a Large calf width in Tall.
How Should Parlanti Boots Feel?
Snug — noticeably so at first.
Parlanti boots are made from soft Italian calfskin and are designed to be worn in. They should feel supple and comfortable from the first wear, but close-fitting. Over the first few weeks the ankle will crease and the boot will drop roughly 1.5–2cm in height, so allow for that when choosing between two heights.
What they should not feel is loose. A boot with room in the calf will slide as you ride and will not give the close contact you are paying for.
