Samshield jackets are French sized, so FR34 is a UK 6, FR36 a UK 8 and so on. Our Samshield clothing size guide has the full conversion and how to measure. Fit does vary a little between models, so if you’re between sizes email us or use live chat and we’ll help you choose.
Can I wear an airbag under a Samshield show jacket?
Yes. Samshield show jackets are airbag compatible: they are cut with the room to wear an airbag vest underneath, so you can compete in your jacket with your airbag on.
Are Samshield show jackets machine washable?
Most Samshield jackets are machine washable on a gentle cycle; check the care label inside your jacket, and store it on a hanger in its cover between shows.
Are Samshield show jackets suitable for hot weather?
The technical fabric is stretchy and breathable on every model, and the Alixair is the one to choose for the hottest days: its perforated pattern lets air through the whole jacket.
