Samshield XC / XJ Closed Liner
The Samshield XC/XJ closed liner is the liner for Samshield’s carbon fibre XJ and Miss XJ helmets. XC/XJ helmets have their own shell and liner system, so this liner is not interchangeable with the 2.0 liners and the 2.0 liners will not fit an XJ.
Which size
The liner must match your shell: Medium takes 53, 54, 55, 56, 57 or 58; Large takes 57, 58, 59, 60 or 61. Sizes 57 and 58 fit either shell: if you’re between the two, start with the larger liner and we’ll swap it if the helmet feels loose. Care and replacement
The liner lifts out and washes at 30°C; air-dry it away from direct heat before it goes back in. We recommend replacing your liner every year or two depending on wear. Every new Samshield helmet from Espayo includes a liner free.

Measure around your head 1–2cm above your eyebrows and just above the tops of your ears, over the widest point at the back, with your hair as you wear it to ride. Choose the shell from the table below; the liner sets your exact size within it.
